Supporting the Memorial
This site is not collecting donations. The memorial is built and paid for. What follows is the record of how it was funded, kept because the Foundation’s own site is gone.
The Oregon World War II Memorial Foundation raised more than a million dollars from Oregonians. Donations went directly to the cost of building the memorial, and could be made in the name of a WWII veteran or a civilian who worked on the war effort. Every gift was tax deductible.
The Foundation’s address of record was 805 NW Skyline Crest Road, Portland, OR 97229.
